We have maintained a happy Tuesday Ladies competition schedule, despite being mid-winter, and having back-to-back League Tuesdays. Thank you for supporting our calls for players every Tuesday.
Natasha Murray: Star of Tuesday Trophy Competition and Boland Mid-Am and Senior Mid-Am Champion
Natasha Murray is playing beautiful mid-Winter Golf. Her name will be engraved on the Turner Trophy with a good Bogey score of +3, played on Tuesday, 28 July.
Natasha competed in the Boland Mid-Am at Robertson on the weekend of 18/19 July, and emerged as both the Mid-Am and Senior Mid-Am champion. Her golfing prowess has been recognized by Western Province, and Natasha has been selected to take part in the Women’s Invitational Premier League (WIPL). Congratulations, Natasha! Thank you for flying the KDM Flag.

Our Club Championship winners, Jaden Visagie (A division), Marianne Kiessig (B division) and Sydney Small (C division) played in the WP Regional Champion of Champions on 05 July at Durbanville. Jaden came 4th, with a gross 79, 3 shots behind the winner, Beverley Button. Well played, Jaden.
League Report
The Ladies League season has come to an end, and we all extend a very big thank you to Marianne for her tireless efforts in making sure the KDM teams were filled each Tuesday and
Saturday League day. Looking at the log tables, KDM did reasonably well, and the 4th and 5th teams lost out on being higher in the ranking when it came down to sorting teams who had the final total tallies.
Bottom line, we should continue to have fun when we go out and play league, enjoy our games on the different courses, and try and maximise the number of games that we win.
Our Fifth League team were at the top of their log with Milnerton and Clovelly on a point score of 9, and end up coming third when “Games For” were taken into account, 0.5 games behind Clovelly. Congratulations to the team who included Barbie James, Esthie Tobler, Ellie Biggs, Donne Querido, Jenny Whittal, Marianne Pontier, Meryl Guilfoyle, Sandy Swanson, Sue Howard, Zubenathi Kroti, and Cindy Illing.
A special shoutout to Jenny Steensma who agreed to be a reserve for the 5th league team, and ended up playing the most matches (6) of everyone! Added to that, Jenny only lost one match, winning three matches and drawing two. Consider yourself in the 2027 team, Jenny.
Final log positions for the other KDM League teams are:
